Zebra's By;Rachel

Today I'm going to tell you about Zebra's. First of all zebra's are mammals, their diet is herbivore, their average life span in the wild is 25 years. The size zebra's are at the shoulder is 3.5 to 5 feet(1.1 to 1.5 m.),their weight is 440 to 990 pounds(200 to 450 kg). Zebra's stay in a large group called a herd. No animal has more distinctive coat than Zebra. each animals stripes are as unique as fingerprints-no two are exactly the same-although each of the species has it's own general pattern. Why do Zebra's have stripes I think there just there to be beautiful. Zebra's live in sub-deserts,plains and are and bushy grasslands the zebra feed's on coarse grass, sedges, bark, leaves, buds, fruit, and root's. Well that's all I have about zebra's the next time I write about animals it is going to be about a skunk.
